Generally when the word ‘midwest’ comes to mind, the words ‘Photography Studio’ are not among the first to appear alongside them. Such things are usually created along the coasts of the US, where the most of the media for the country is created. Formed between five friends (who just also happen to be photographers), Five Giants Studio was created to change things up a little bit in an otherwise uninteresting area of the country. The studio itself was initially created as a place to shoot photos during the harsh winters, but has since grown into something else. Five Giants Studio is planned to be used as a creative outlet for photography and video among its owners. From set building to video expertise, each ‘Giant’ brings a little something to the table at the studio. Future plans for the studio include a weekly video podcast that will reach out the photographic community with tips, tricks, and discussion centralizing around the world of photography. Ideally, the owners of Five Giants would like to quit their day jobs and focus on working at the studio shooting full time.
